moving

i've been pretty unactive lately and decided i need a blog with a bit different concept and look.

as i'm constantly creating something it would be ashame if it all ended up in some drawer and soon forgotten. i wanted a special place to share and i've finnaly managed to create one.

you can check it out here!

hope to see you around.

Browsing trough my laptop old files
I found many forgotten fashion sketches
some scanned
some coloured
some just quickly sketched in photoshop.

Why oh why didn't I decide to go to fashion school...

[birthday] cards

i've been asked to do some birthday cards for some members of my family
that are celebrating this weekend.

i used colorful papers
some textured and handmade ones
some old black and white patterns i made for a schhool assignment
polymer clay button
embroidery thread
black and gold markers.

cats

these are my two little monsters.

they make me
laugh
smile
and sometimes very mad.

but it's impossible to
resist those big cute
"i'm innocent"
eyes. :)

scarf: charchoal

i've finnaly finished my boyfriends scarf.

it's
big
cozy
soft
ribbed

and made out of two shades of gray.
it creates a wonderful effect
when wrapped around the neck.

i want one. :)

daily sketch: first of march twoten

this is the first in the series of daily scan illustrations.

i got the idea when i was browsing trough
my old sketchbooks.
they had so many great ideas and sketches
i had to share.

so i'll be scanning images
and share them online.

i'll also be doing my digital
[sketchfolio]
so i have access to these illustrations
in digital form anytime
if i want to colour them.

it's a shame to leave them just laying there
in boxes and
on the shelves.

teal

got this wonderfully coloured cotton
on sale.

it is dark teal
more blue than green.

i love it
esspecially cause it makes
a great contrast with our yellow couch
covered with red blanket.
makes great photos. :)

i intend to do ribbed lace bolero.

i did some sort of a swatch today
just to check it could be knit on 5mm needles

i think it would not be the most easy project to do
mostly because of the yarn,
it is made out of many spun tiny fibers
that just "unspin" when i get to purl stitches.

it's still the most beautiful colour
and i'll make it work :)
